09-2021 - present

Django developer at LISN, Gif-sur-Yvette

Development, maintenance and evolution of the intranet system for the Interdisciplinary Laboratory of Computer Sciences (LISN, University Paris-Saclay). The system was developed by using the techs Django, MySQL, Bootstrap and Javascript. The main functionalities implemented included:

> The module of recruitment for future members of the institute.
> The institutional directory with more than 450 active members.
> The module to manage the profile of each member at the institute (allowing to setup personal and public data).
> The endpoints from an API-REST that feed data to the public website of the lab.
> The inventory module to manage the computational material and the purchase order tracking in the lab.

Post-doctoral researcher at INRAE, Jouy-en-Josas

Experience in a technological facility where I carried out:

> High-throughput proteomic studies using R and Python to analyze yeast samples, for the European Project CHASSY, and from other biological sources (human, plants pathogens, bacteria and mammals) for several national projects.
> Versioning using GIT to provide the traceability required for the quality standard ISO 9001:2015.
> Support in lab practices of bachelor students.
> Writing of an R package capable to analyze metaproteomics data in the context of the project POC Microbiome Rapid-Access.

Research work focused on the comparative analysis between Streptomyces bacteria having different phenotypes to produce either lipids or antibiotics.

> Application of an integrative approach combining biochemical and statistical methods to identify the differential proteins responsible of the contrasting phenotypes.
> Optimization of the pipeline (wet lab and computational R scripts) to extract insights from high-throughput proteomics data.
> Valorization of scientific data by presenting the results at international conferences and through publications of peer-reviewed articles .
> Development of project management skills to achieve the goals during the fixed deadlines in a multidisciplinary environment.

Research studies carried out at the Professional and Interdisciplinary Unit of Biotechnology (UPIBI). Where I :

> Optimized of the production conditions of two microalgal strains to enhance lipids accumulation as feedstock for biofuels by using the response surface methodology.
> Scaled-up the suitable culture conditions of a marine microalgae from lab (1 l) to pilot-scale (200 l) in order to produce oleaginous biomass
> Presented the obtained results at conferences in North America.

Personal interests

In my sparse time I enjoy practicing handball and go out running when the weather is nice. Fan of  obstacle races , video and board games. One of my favorite moments of the day is with a cup of espresso. I like moving by  bike and travelling anywhere.
